Ingredients (Samagri)

500 gram fish slices (rohu, pomfret, surmai ya tilapia)

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp black pepper powder (optional)

Salt taste ke hisaab se

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp rice flour ya semolina (crispiness ke liye)

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

Oil for shallow frying

How to Make Fish Fry (Step-by-Step Method)

1) Sabse pehle fish slices ko achhe se wash karke pani nikal dein. Fish ko zyada der pani me na bhigo, warna taste loose ho jata hai.

2) Ek bowl me turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, black pepper, salt, ginger garlic paste aur lemon juice mix karein. Thoda sa pani daal kar thick paste bana lein.

3) Ab is masale ko fish slices par achhe se lagayein. Har piece par masala evenly coat hona chahiye.

4) Masala lagi hui fish ko 15–20 minute ke liye rest den. Isse fish masale ka flavour achhe se absorb kar leti hai.

5) Rest ke baad fish ke upar halka sa rice flour ya semolina lagayein. Yeh step fish fry ko extra crispy banata hai.

6) Ek pan me oil medium flame par garam karein. Oil zyada tez garam nahi hona chahiye, warna fish jal sakti hai.

7) Ab fish slices ko dhyaan se pan me daalein. Ek baar me zyada pieces na daalein, warna oil ka temperature gir jayega.

8) Fish ko medium flame par 3–4 minute tak ek side se fry karein. Jab niche se golden brown ho jaye, tab hi palte.

9) Dusri side se bhi 3–4 minute fry karein jab tak fish crispy aur evenly cooked na ho jaye.

10) Fry ho jaane ke baad fish ko tissue paper par nikaal lein taaki extra oil absorb ho jaye.
