Yeh recipe normal fish curry se thodi zyada rich hoti hai, isliye special lunch ya dinner ke liye perfect choice ban jaati hai. Ingredients (Samagri)

500 gram fish (rohu, pomfret, surmai ya koi bhi boneless fish)

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

Salt taste ke hisaab se

2 tbsp oil (frying ke liye)

Masala Gravy ke liye

2 tbsp oil

1 medium onion (finely chopped)

2 medium tomatoes (puree)

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp red chilli powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

Salt taste ke hisaab se

1/2 cup pani (as required)

Garnish

Fresh coriander leaves

How to Make Fish Masala (Step-by-Step Method)

Sabse pehle fish pieces ko achhe se wash karein. Un par thoda turmeric aur salt lagakar 10 minute ke liye side me rakh dein.

Ek pan me 2 tbsp oil garam karein aur fish pieces ko halki flame par shallow fry karein. Fish ko poori tarah cook nahi karna hai, bas light golden colour aane tak fry karein. Fish nikaal kar side me rakh dein.

Ab usi pan me thoda aur oil add karein. Oil medium hot ho jaaye to chopped onion daal kar bhunein jab tak onion light golden brown na ho jaaye.

Onion pak jaaye to ginger garlic paste add karein aur 1–2 minute tak bhunein jab tak raw smell khatam na ho jaye.

Ab tomato puree daal kar masala tab tak pakayein jab tak oil clearly side se chhodne lage. Is step me patience rakhein, yahi gravy ka base hota hai.

Isme red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder aur salt add karke mix karein. Masale ko low flame par 2 minute bhunne dein.

Ab thoda pani add karein aur gravy ko medium thickness tak aane dein.

Fry ki hui fish pieces ko dheere se gravy me daal dein. Spoon zyada mat chalayein taaki fish tute nahi.

Fish masala ko low flame par 8–10 minute tak pakne dein, taaki fish gravy ka flavour achhe se absorb kar le.

Last me garam masala aur fresh coriander leaves add karke gas band kar dein.
